Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when NANOTESTING (Sodasoft LLC) will issue refunds. It is part of the Terms of Service; in case of conflict the Terms control.

1. Subscription fees

1.1 Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

1.2 Annual subscriptions

Annual subscription fees are billed in advance. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops the next renewal. If you cancel within 30 days of the original purchase or the most recent renewal and have not yet relied on the Service to deliver a sealed PDF report or to credit a verified-review request, we will refund 100% of the most-recent annual fee. Beyond 30 days no pro-rata refund is owed, but we will honour the remainder of the paid term and cancel the next renewal.

1.3 Web3 add-on

The Web3 / smart-contract add-on follows the same cadence as the underlying plan. Cancellation of the add-on stops the next renewal; refunds follow the rules above.

1.4 Plan downgrades

Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not pro-rate refunds when you downgrade mid-cycle. Plan upgrades are billed immediately on a pro-rata basis via Stripe.

2. Consumer cooling-off

Where mandatory consumer-protection law applies (EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, certain US states), you may have a right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase. By starting any scan, downloading any report, or otherwise actively using the Service you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right to withdraw is lost once we have fully performed.

3. Failed scans + service-level credits

If a scan you triggered fails for reasons attributable to NANOTESTING (worker outage, regression, infrastructure failure on our side) and the same scan still fails after a retry, contact support@nanotesting.com with the scan id. We will credit the failed scan against your monthly quota and may issue a one-off Stripe credit when the outage affected your reporting deadline.

4. Verified-review credits

Verified-review credits purchased separately are non-refundable once you have submitted a scan for the human review. Unused credits roll over for 12 months from purchase and are refundable on a pro-rata basis only on full account termination at our discretion.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@nanotesting.com from the address on the account. Include the organisation name, the Stripe invoice number, and a short note describing why you are requesting a refund. We respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds back to the original payment method within 10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us is considered abuse of the payment system. We may dispute the chargeback with Stripe, suspend the account, and seek reimbursement of any chargeback fees and recovery costs. Reach out before disputing - we will refund anything we owe.

7. Free plan

The Free plan is offered at no cost; no refund applies.

8. Tax

Where we refund tax we follow Stripe's tax calculation for the jurisdiction. Tax already remitted to a tax authority may not always be recoverable; in that case the refund is net of the unrecoverable portion.
